Saloon

The Saloon at Main Street Museum features historical artifacts and numerous architectural features including:

  • Light Fixture Dome | Argentina

Between 1870 and 1900 the number of saloons in the United States tripled. Saloons were a gathering place for the working class, headquarters for the politically elite, and the town social hall. Beer and whiskey were on tap. Drinks flowed continuously, and dancing girls were readily available. 

Guests at Main Street Museum can explore the history of the early 19th Century Saloon.  Interactive features include slot machines, games of chance, and strength games.
