Horse Drawn Trolley

Main Street Museum proudly features a Horse Drawn Trolley that was instrumental in the start of modern day transportation. New Yorkers could take a one way transfer to Bloomingdales in New York City on this trolley.

Horse Drawn Trolleys afforded many people to ability to travel beyond their neighborhood. In the early 1900's travel was limited due to unfinished roadways, heavy attire, and affordability.
